Age 97 of Roseboro, NC died Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at her residence. 

Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 8, 2024 at St. Thomas AME Zion Church (810 Bullard Street, Roseboro, NC 28382) at 1:00 pm. 

Interment: Roseboro Cemetery (Marion-Amos Road, Roseboro, NC)

Public Viewing will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Butler & Son Funeral Home (10501 Roseboro Highway, Roseboro, NC 28382).

Ms. Phillips leaves to cherish her memories: Son: Jimmie Allen Monroe Sr. (Chnita) of Riegelwood, NC; Daughter: Cheryl Simmons of Roseboro, NC; Grandchildren: Jimmie Allen Monroe Jr. (Cassie) of Knightdale, NC, Tamara Young (Randolph) of Raleigh, NC, Terrence Parker of Benson, NC, Clara Monroe (Jamarian) of Wake Forest, NC, and Lakeshia Simmons of Roseboro, NC. Great Grandchildren: Rayna Young, Jordan Monroe, Taylor Young, Luke Parker, Jamison Monroe, and Cadence Monroe with a host of other relatives and friends.
