Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4442 Bonnetsville Road, Clinton, NC at 1:00 pm. 

Mr. Carter leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Shante Marie Keesha Carter; three brothers, James Douglas Carter (Delores),Tracey, CA, Edward H. Carter, Jr. (Dorothy) and Dwayne Allen Carter, Raleigh, NC; four sisters, Patricia Geraldine Carter Caesar ,Winston Salem, NC, Dr. Janice Carter Brown (Carl) , Autryville, NC, Dorcas Juliett Carter Beatty (Calvin) Harrells, NC, and Phyllis Kayle Carter Goodman, MSN, RN (Timothy), Clinton, NC; adopted grandson, Diamani Tymeek Richardson; two brothers in law, Harold McLean, Fayetteville, NC and Gary Mills, Woodbridge, VA; special niece Joanna Mills, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
