Doris Manequett Obituary

Doris Gertrude McLamb Manequett, 74, formerly of Sampson County passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at BridgePoint Hospital Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of Ralph McLamb, Sr. and Faye Harding McLamb Chestnutt.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Point Level Disciple Church with Elder Louise Royal officiating.

The burial will follow in Point Level Disciple Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Manequett is survived by her husband Charles Manequett, Sr. of the home, son Anthony Harding (Serena Miller) of Orange, New Jersey, granddaughter Brittany Smith, two great grandsons Curtis Baxter and Ahman Swann of Maryland and a step-granddaughter Phoenix Frasier of Orange, New Jersey, brothers, Jimmy McLamb (Helen) of Clinton, Thomas Henry McLamb of Clinton, Maryland, Ricky McLamb of Wilson, sisters Carolyn McLamb Cahill (Paul) of Princeton and Linda McLamb Owens (Johnnie) of Garner, two aunts Vada Williams (Eddie) and Minnie McLamb of Clinton, nieces and nephews, many loving first cousins, other relatives, and lifelong friendships. And a special friend Jeanie Champion of Maryland.

 

Public Viewing at Butler and Son Funeral Home in Clinton, North Carolina on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the family present beginning at 5:00 pm.
