Lynda (Archie) Lane

On August 23, 2021, at 8:04am, a time of suffering ended for my beloved mother, Lynda Lane.At the age of 73, God called her home, into an existence of eternal peace.

She lived a full life, as a military spouse, and retired from a career in healthcare. She enjoyed fine foods, traveling, as well as shopping. She was the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann Archie, who are also deceased. She is survived by her only child, Bridgette Shirrelle Morgan, her son in law, Mark Morgan, as well as two grandchildren, BrianKa and Jonathan Morgan. She also leaves behind two sisters and a brother,who are Dorothy Owens, Hilda Blackmon, and Cornelius Archie, her ex-husband , Charles Lane, and a host of nieces and nephews and special friends who were supportive throughout her journey. 

In closing, a valuable lesson is shared by her passing. We are only as significant in this life as the impact we have in the lives of those around us. Be kind, and always embrace those in whom you love.

There will be a public walkthrough on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Butler & Son Funeral Home in Roseboro, NC.
