Age 89- of 2420 Claude Drag Rd., Roseboro, NC died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Ms. Minnie Pearl Freeman was the daughter of the late Mitchell and Lealer Parker and was preceded in death by her siblings, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. She was married to the late Livis Colonel Freeman.
Survivors: Only Son, Livis James Freeman of the home (Roseboro); Three Grandchildren: Juandalynn Freeman Sankey (William) of Clinton, Nc, Angelia Freeman of Roseboro, NC, and Livis Freeman III (Eva) of Mebane, NC; 5 Great-Grandchildren: Marcus Wiles, Jales Banks, Isa Banks, Aidan Miles, and Preston Miles; Two Sister-in-Laws: Ethel Mae Newkirk of Roseboro, NC and Edith Carroll of Snow Hill Community; and a host of cousin, nieces, and nephews.
Ms. Freeman was a member of Holy Tabernacle where she served many offices but most important a warrior for the Lord and a Mother of the Church. She was noted for her buttermilk biscuits and her beautiful smile.
Private Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2020 at Roseboro Cemetery, Roseboro, NC.
Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
