Plato McCollum Jr. Obituary

Age 73, 5010 Golfway Dr., Eight Mile, Alabama formerly of Clinton, NC died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at his home. He is the husband of Julie Jordan McCollum and father of Dr. Regina McCollum Sullivan, Plato III., and Nolan McCollum.

He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Jordan and Wyatt Sullivan. Toby was the son of the late Ella Mae Fryar McCollum and Plato McCollum of Clinton, NC. A Wake is scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Smalls Mortuary, located in Mobile, AL. He will be funeralized on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin Street Baptist Church in Mobile, AL and laid to rest at the Sand Hills Cemetery in Clinton, NC on Saturday, September 21, 2019.; visitation to be held at the Butler & Sons Funeral Home in Clinton, NC from 1PM to the 3PM and additional Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. officiated by the Butler & Son Funeral Service
in Clinton NC.

His loss is mourned by his McCollum Siblings, Lacy McCollum, Iris Green, Carolyn Thomas, Gale Sampson Durand
McCollum, Larry McCollum,Trudi Foushee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
