Reginald Fennell (Little Breeze) transitioned on August 10, 2020 at the age of 58. He was born in Fort Lee, Virginia on March 8, 1962. He was the son of the late James Fennell, Jr. and Vivian T. Gunter.
Reginald was a native of Sampson County. He grew up in Garland and was a member of First Baptist Church. He graduated from Garland High School. Upon graduation he enlisted in the U. S. Airforce. After leaving the Airforce, he held various jobs before starting his own Audio-Visual Company.
Reggie had a passion for cooking, especially grilling. He learned to cook by watching his father and grandmothers.
His love for life, sense of humor, kind heart and sharp wit will be deeply missed.
Reggie was preceded in death by his father, James E. Fennell, Jr. and Stepfather, Rev. Handy Gunter, Jr. He leaves precious memories to his beloved mother, Vivian T. Gunter, his siblings, Pamela F. Kendrick (Bobby) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Cheryl F. Blakes (Tony) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Kathy F. Noble (Larry) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Eric Fennell of Raleigh, NC, Kevin Gunter, Sr. (Annette), Michelle Dawson (Titus), Nicole Stewart, and Dionne Gunter. He also leaves to mourn his fiancé Annette Alexander of Winston Salem, NC and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Private Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Garland Community Cemetery in Garland, NC at 1:00 pm.
Viewing will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 10 am to Noon at Butler & Son Funeral Services in Clinton, NC.
