Sophia Faison Obituary

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Sophia Faison, age 72, departed this life at her home. She was born September 27, 1952, in Dothan, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, D'Shawn Russell, Tonya Faison Brown and Crystal Faison; sister, Helen Norton; brother, Kenneth Norton; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; extended family members and other loved ones.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sophia Faison are scheduled for Tuesday, April 29. 2025, at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 2200 S. Alston Avenue, Durham, North Carolina 27707; visitation, 12:00 pm-12:50 pm, and service 1:00 pm.

Interment will be Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Sandhill Cemetery (3 Sampson Street, Clinton, NC 28328) at 11:00 am.
