Age 71- of Clinton, NC died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Sunset Avenue Elementary School Auditorium (505 Sunset Avenue, Clinton, NC 28328) at 3:00 pm.

Interment: Springvale Cemetery (Clinton City Cemetery) (503 W. Elizabeth Street, Clinton, NC 28328).

Public Viewing will be Friday, May 31, 2024 at Butler & Son Funeral Services (410 North Blvd., Clinton, NC 28328) from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Mrs. Bass leaves to cherish her memories: Husband-Elmer Bass of Clinton, NC; One Son-J. C. Marable (Teresa) of Charlotte, NC; One Daughter-Ebony Bass (Victor) of Greensboro, NC; Mother-Mary "Baby Sis" Sampson of Clinton, NC; Grandchildren-Kaitlyn Marable, Jaziya Marable, Mackenzie Bannerman, and Victor Bannerman; One Great Grandchild-Joshua Marable and a host of other relatives and friends.
