He loved to read and spend time outdoors. He always took pride in his appearance and his attire. He was known for his nice suits and hats. For entertainment, he loved gospel and jazz music, western movies, watching wrestling, and Sanford & Son. He often followed a holistic lifestyle and was avid about eating healthy.  He loved going to acupuncture. He LOVED to eat and didn’t believe in leaving food behind on his plate. Some of his favorite foods were apple sauce, meats of all kinds, and drinking orange juice.  Lastly, he was a man of God and was a devoted churchgoer at his church in Raleigh until his health prevented him from attending.
