To the Simpson Family, I am truly blessed to have known Mr. Herman Simpson. He was a wonderful man full of love and faith. He would often come to my parents’ home in Roseboro on Sunday afternoons, after church, and pick me and my twin brother (Marcus) up so we could play with two of his boys (Maurice and Patrick). Oftentimes he would have a different car from where he worked at a dealership in Clinton, NC. He would on occasions drive us to Fayetteville to see a movie, go to Vick’s Drive-in and other places to eat, and would drive us to neighboring locations to show us where to and where not to go when we reached driving ages. He painted my 1967 AMC Rebel - candy apple red with white stripes - a couple of times. It was a hot looking car for many years. I will never forget Mr. Simpson and pray that God gives him eternal rest.
